Our client is looking for a technically minded Sales Accounts Manager.
Candidates must have a fair for sales and good understanding of radio frequencies, Bluetooth, wireless Cellular & microwaveable components.
Our client’s industry is a very “niche” market. They import and sell electronic components in South Africa, an understanding of Wireless & Cellular technologies and microwavable components as well as sales experience is critical for this role

Minimum Requirements:

    • Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering & Sales

    • BTech / B.Eng. (Electronics / Mechatronics) in Electrical Engineering

    • Min 3-5 years’ experience in similar role

    • Technological knowledge

    • Computer literate

    • Fluent in English

    • Valid Driver’s license – own vehicle

    • Traceable references

    • Clear criminal record

Key Responsibilities

    • Handling full Sales process in conjunction with Sales Administrators.

    • Technical and support processes (assisting with technical difficulties)

    • Develop new business opportunities with existing clients by promoting company products and services.

    • Sourcing and developing of new business opportunities with new clients.

    • Negotiating and closing of sales.

    • Work closely and ensure that Sales Administrators have all the necessary information required to complete various sales related functions.

    • Responsible for meeting and exceeding sales objectives and targets.

    • Prepare and deliver technical presentations of new and existing product lines explaining products to customers and prospective customers.

    • Preparing customer quotes.

    • Follow up on quotes sent to client with a phone call on the day it is sent.

    • Help clients solve technical issues with products.

    • Remain up to date with innovations, trends and new products in the market.

    • Responsible for good housekeeping and safety.

    • Working daily on Microsoft Office package, SAP and any other CRM program used

    • Responsible for meeting and exceeding sales objectives and targets.

    • Handle customer complaints through the corrective and preventative action system.

    • Travel to conduct meetings and demonstrations of new/existing product lines.

    • Develop new business opportunities with existing clients by promoting company products and services.

    • Calculating customer quotes.

    • Negotiating and closing sales.
