Production Planner (M/F)
The Production Planner Will Have The Overall Responsibility Of The SAP Production Schedule That Drives The Supply Chain And Production Activities In Our Make-To-Order Low Volume Manufacturing Environment. As A Key Team Member, You Will Be Involved With The Implementation Of The ERP System. In Order To Optimise Customer Service, You Need To Be Able To Balance The Customer Requested Dates With The Plant ATP Dates. This Requires An In-Depth Understanding Of Our Production Activities And A Close Working Relationship With Production. Next To This You Are Also Responsible For The Master Data Related To Suppliers-, Material- And Work Centres To Ensure Accurate Capacity Planning Through MRP.
Your Main Responsibilities Will Include:
- You Are Accountable For Overall Production Planning Function. You Evaluate Sales Order Backlog With The Operations Team To Compose A Rolling 4 To 6 Weeks Production Schedule.
- You Ensure That The Correct SAP Processes Are Followed During MRP Runs, Production Order Issuing And Tracking.
- You Also Monitor MRP And Coordinating Production Schedule Changes With Our Customer Service Department And Production To Minimize The Impact On Deadlines. Besides This You Also Maintain And Improve Master Data Accuracy To Ensure Accurate Available-To-Promise Dates. This Includes: MRP Parameters Of The Material Master, Work Centre Capacity Maintenance And Supplier Lead-Times.
- You Also Compile Performance Reports And Submit Them To Management. Next To This You Also Support Operational Excellence Initiatives And Assist In The Continuous Improvement Of The Production Planning System To Reduce Waste And Costs And Improve Efficiency.
SAP Superuser Combined With Production Planning Experience?
- Preferably You Have SAP Experience As A Superuser, And You Combine This With An Experience With Production Planning On An ERP System. Tertiary Qualification In Supply Chain Or Production Planning Is Required.
- Preferably You Already Have Experience With The Implementation Of An ERP System.
- Other Advantages Are MTO Experience And SAPICS Qualifications Or Equivalent.
- You Have Good Working Knowledge Of The Basic Functionalities Of MS 365
- You Can Express Yourself Fluently In English And Afrikaans, Both Written And Spoken. Any Other Languages Are An Advantage.
