1. Management of Sales Cycle by:

1.1 Providing assistance in qualifying identified opportunities;

1.2 Providing assistance in conducting needs analysis for identified clients or opportunities;

1.3 Ensuring that presentations are maintained and up to date;

1.4 Ensuring that appoints are scheduled in order to qualify the prospects;

1.5 Ensuring that the Line Manager diary is managed in accordance to scheduled appointments.

2. Management of Bid Process by:

2.1 Developing knowledge of business, its products and services by reading and reviewing previous bid documents;

2.2 Providing assistance in the development of standard templates for less complicated bids;

2.3 Providing assistance in the development of best practice processes in managing bids;

2.4 Providing assistance in analysing advertised and identified request for proposals;

2.5 Providing assistance in the attendance of external briefing sessions;

2.6 Participating in internal briefing sessions in determining the viability of the RFQ;

2.7 Providing assistance in creating and reinforcing proposal calendar dates;

2.8 Providing assistance in the development and management of the resource matrix to attend

to the RFQ;

2.9 Providing assistance in co-ordinating the information process on the identified sections within the proposal i.e. statutory documents, CVs, Qualifications;

2.10 Providing assistance in conducting an analysis of the developed proposal to ensure that it addresses the RFP (Request for Proposal);

3.3 Providing assistance in the setting up of product and services promotions for potential clients;

3.4 Provide assistance in co-ordinating the sales process and collating information with different departments;

3.5 Ensuring the drafting of sales proposals for potential and identified clients;

3.6 Ensuring the compiling and updating of the leads/pipeline database on a weekly basis;

3.7 Ensuring that all marketing collaterals are maintained and up to date;

3.8 Ensuring that the bill of quantities is prepared and verified by the finance department;

3.9 Ensuring that quotations are prepared for licensing and information is related to the finance department;

3.10 Ensuring that sales ordered are reviewed up to a point of approval;

3.11 Ensuring the drafting and up-keeping of all sales presentation’s;

3.12 Ensuring that developed and verified Purchase Orders are distributed to clients;

3.13 Ensuring that the sales budget is maintained and updated in conjunction with the finance department;

3.14 Ensuring the management of the rebate system pertaining to the forex accounts;

3.15 Ensuring that sales appointments are scheduled and attended to;

3.16 Ensuring that all raised sales queries are closed and reported on a daily basis;

3.17 Ensuring that inactive clients are categorised accordingly on the database and removed or revived;

3.18 Ensure the ordering of licenses for newly appointed clients and renewals;

3.19 Ensure that licensing resolutions are managed effectively and efficiently.

4. Management of Vendor Relationships by:

4.1 Providing assistance in scheduling and attending to meetings with vendors in order to discuss products and services being provided;

4.2 Provide assistance in the development and management of vendor management strategies;

4.3 Providing assistance in negotiating deals with the vendor after discussing and gaining knowledge about the service they provide;

4.4 Ensure that the vendor delivers on the set commitments as per the Service Level Agreement;

4.5 Ensure that performance reports are developed and communicated to management about any raising matters from the vendor;

4.6 Ensure the monitoring of vendor work in terms of quality with the respective departments;

4.7 Ensure that vendor Service Level Agreements are maintained and updated continuously;

4.8 Ensure that the vendor statement of work is marinated and up to date on a monthly basis;

4.9 Ensure that risks identified with the vendor are communicated to management continuously;

4.10 Ensure that outward communication is to vendors is facilitated understanding the organisational strategy

5. Management of clients by:

1.1 Providing assistance in developing and enhancing client relationship and/or engagement (networking) after being introduced by the line manager;

5.2 Ensuring that service level agreements are adhered to (client satisfaction);

5.3 Provide assistance in planning and delivering customer relations management strategies across the company, encouraging customer retention and loyalty;

5.4 Ensuring the capturing of all required information at key points in the customer life cycle with Afrocentric;

5.5 Ensuring active participation from all departments to effectively enhance CRM across the organisation;

5.6 Overseeing direct communication with customer through CRM;
